Philip is teaming up with who now?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-28-24 say he’s allied with someone he generally hates, which shows how big a deal Kristen’s attempted corporate takeover is.
Meanwhile, a surprising exit is on the horizon, and the fallout from multiple plots unraveling will be a lot of fun.
No, That’s Not Jay Kenneth Johnston Playing Philip
Let’s get this out of the way right away: the guy who returned at the end of Friday’s episode was played by John Paul Lasovier, not Jay Kenneth Johnston, and that’s not going to change any time soon.
I know that disappoints some fans so much that they don’t care about this story, but I hope that most people will overlook which actor is playing Philip. This is going to be awesome!
Last time Philip and Xander tangled over the CEO position at Titan, it devolved into childish tantrums instead of the two working together.
Philip has so much more reason to hate Xander now.
All of a sudden, not only is Xander his brother, who got the whole company, but he wants to sell it to the late Victor Kiriakis’ biggest enemies for an experimental serum that may or may not cure Sarah’s paralysis.
Philip’s vindictive streak can be just as intense as Victor’s ever was, so Xander better watch out!
Philip Teams Up With Vivian!
Louise Sorel is back, and she and Philip will wreak havoc together.
Surprised? Me too, because Philip usually hates Vivian.
The last time he was in Salem, she called him her son while he pushed her away and told her never to talk to him again, so what gives?
Obviously, he wants to make sure Titan stays in Kiriakis hands badly enough that he’ll do anything to make that happen.
It seems like the whole family is united against Xander. Justin already tried to talk some sense into him, and Philip might actually team up with Brady, too!
I usually hate these CEO stories, but if Philip is going to be forging alliances with the enemies of his enemies, this will be a fresh new spin that’ll be worth watching.
Kristen also will be going through some things when her deal falls through but first, we have some surprising casting news: Brandon Barash is out as Stefan.
This decision was storyline-driven, not the actor’s choice, which means that whoever that masked person was that attacked him either killed him or dragged him away to parts unknown.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-28-24 say nothing about Stefan except that he’s prevented from seeing Gabi, but his last day is Monday.
Fiona Shouldn’t Be Nearly So Smug About Her “Victory”
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-28-24 say that Sarah will unload her wrath on Fiona.
Fiona can’t push her down the stairs this time, and she’s been caught red-handed with a drink in her hand minutes after her lawyer got her out of trouble for the moment.
I don’t understand why EJ listened to Trask. Yes, the case was weak because of his former insistence on prosecuting Brady for the same crime, but that’s never stopped a Salem jury from getting a conviction before.
Trask prosecuted Belle for the murder of Charlie Dale even though she was the fifth person to be arrested, and the only evidence was a button from Belle’s jacket that was found at the scene, so how could Fiona’s case be unprosecutable?
That was plot-driven nonsense, but at least now she’ll get a healthy dose of karma from Sarah.
Fiona tried to kill Sarah to keep her quiet so the whole city will know what she did and what she thinks she got away with.
If Fiona’s smart, she’ll go right back to that police station and confess. Sarah is scary when she’s angry, wheelchair or no wheelchair, and whatever she does is child’s play compared to what Xander will do.
He already disowned his mother, so there’s no reason he won’t get just as violent with her now as he was with Brady when he thought he was the one who left Sarah to die by the side of the road.
Alternatively, coward Fiona can run back to Scotland with her tail between her legs and never come back, and that’s likely what she will do.
Almost no one in Salem pays for their crimes, after all.
The News About “Abigail” Spreads
Across the world, Fake Abigail (aka Cat Green) has serious problems now that her scheme has been discovered.
Cat and Mark have two powerful men ready to give them hell. I don’t know when Clyde became a supervillain, but they’re scared of him… but the one they SHOULD fear is Chad.
Chad goes full Dimera when anyone hurts his family, and pretending to be his dead wife hurts him and everyone he loves. If JJ’s still around, he’ll have some choice words for the schemers too.
What SHOULD happen is that these two are turned over to the police, but when was the last time anyone in Salem did anything the easy way?
A New Hernandez Is In Town
Gabi and Rafe’s conversation about a random dead aunt will pay off when cousin Javi shows up at Gabi’s doorstep.
I’d rather they found a way to undo the nonsense about Dario being on the run, but I have a feeling this new guy is going to be Dario 2.0.
Rafe said he felt bad that this cousin didn’t get the ring the aunt left him, but he might not feel that way by the time this story is over!
Holly’s Ready To Forgive, But Has Tate Moved On?
In true soap opera fashion, Holly is finally ready to forgive Tate (and Eric, incidentally), but Tate has just admitted his feelings for Sophia.
I don’t particularly like Tate with either of these two. Sophia is a schemer, and Holly doesn’t hesitate to throw Tate or his family under the bus when it suits her.
Still, Holly’s a better choice than Sophia, and it’s clear they’re endgame, so at most, this nonsense is a bump in the road.
A better story would have been JJ sticking around and giving Holly some support with the life-changing secret she learned about her stepfather.
JJ had serious mental health issues that came to a climax when he learned that his family had kept it secret that Jack raped Kayla years ago, and Daniel was the one who helped him get his life back together afterward.
There’d be no one better to help Holly work through this issue, but it doesn’t sound like we’re getting that scene, at least not right now.
Johnny Wants Chanel’s Forgiveness, But Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 10-28-24 Say He And Joy Have A Secret
I wish I could love this spoiler.
I like Joy. I used to like Johnny. Why do these two have to be involved in this ridiculous cheating storyline?
All bad things stem from the Body And Soul storyline. Every horrible story of the past few months has been related to it.
And now it’s ruining a new character I was excited about and one of the few rootable couples on Days of Our Lives.
