Fennesz Announces New Album With Ozmotic, Shares Song: Listen

“Floating Time” leads the album Senzatempo, which follows Christian Fennesz’s 2015 collaboration with the Turin duo, AirEffect

Fennesz has collaborated with the Turin duo Ozmotic on a new album, Senzatempo, as Stereogum points out. It follows their joint 2015 LP, AirEffect, and is Christian Fennesz’s first full studio release since his 2019 album, Agora. (He self-released a live album the following year.) Listen to the first song from the record, “Floating Time,” below.

Since releasing Agora, Fennesz has contributed to the Paradise In Love soundtrack and a tribute compilation to his sometime collaborator Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Read about Fennesz in Pitchfork’s rundown of the most important artists of the site’s first 25 years. He also contributed to “33 Musicians on Their Favorite Albums of the Last 25 Years,” discussing Farmers Manual’s Fsck. Agora was Pitchfork’s 8th favorite album of 2019.
