Weyes Blood has released a new video for her single “Grapevine.” The song was released earlier this month, and is set to appear on songwriter Natalie Mering’s upcoming album And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow. Watch Mering navigate the aftermath of a car crash in the visual below.

“Grapevine” follows “It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody,” which got its own nautical-themed music video directed by Charlotte Ercoli.

And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow is Mering’s first Weyes Blood album since 2019’s Titanic Rising. She co-produced the record primarily with Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, though she co-produced one song, “A Given Thing,” with Rodaidh McDonald. The new record features guest appearances from Meg Duffy, Daniel Lopatin, and Mary Lattimore.

Since releasing Titanic Rising, Mering has collaborated with the Killers, recorded with Tim Heidecker, appeared on Lana Del Rey’s Chemtrails Over the Country Club, and more.
