Megan Thee Stallion was the both the host and musical guest on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. She performed the songs “Anxiety,” “NDA,” and “Plan B” from her latest album Traumazine, which dropped back in August. Her performance of “Anxiety” featured background dancers and a set resembling a beauty pageant; for her medley of “NDA” and “Plan B,” Meg was backed by a full rock band. Check it out below.

Last night before the show aired, Megan posted a note on Twitter following the news that her Los Angeles home had been burglarized. “Hotties I’m really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break,” she wrote. “I’m so tired, physically and emotionally.” The rapper added: “material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe.”

Traumazine is Megan Thee Stallion’s sophomore studio album, following 2020’s Good News. The album included singles “Plan B,” “Sweetest Pie” (with Dua Lipa), “Pressurelicious” (with Future). She’s also released videos for the Traumazine songs “Ungrateful” and “Her.” Ahead of last night’s episode, Megan appeared in a teaser alongside SNL cast member Sarah Sherman.

SNL is currently in its 48th season. Other musical guests this season have included Kendrick Lamar and Willow. Lamar performed the songs “Rich Spirit,” “N95,” and “Father Time” from his latest album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Willow was joined by a live band for “Curious/Furious” and “Ur a Stranger”—two songs from her new LP <CopingMechanism>. On October 29, Jack Harlow will stop by SNL to host and perform as musical guest.
