The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four opener was chaotic in the most iconic way as the queens brought the looks, the drama and the… Mr Blobbies?

In Thursday’s (22 September) episode the queens were faced with a Spice Girls photoshoot as well as a BBC show inspired and “Ru Are You” runway look to wow the judges with their first impressions.

The episode was capped off with the Dame Joanna Lumley guest judging as we saw some iconic first entrances, a facedown between the Mr Blobby’s and the queens showing off their ultimate styles.

After even the judges admitted the astronomically high calibre of this year’s queens, the final two came down to Dakota Schiffer and Just May.

The two lipsynced for their life to Mabel’s “Let Them Know” but in the end it wasn’t meant to be for UK’s number one Geri Halliwell drag impersonator as she sashayed away.

Although not many tears were shed as Just May said: “It feels iconic to be first queen to leave Drag Race UK Series 4 because just like Geri Halliwell, I made an early exit.”

Meanwhile, fans were absolutely gagged by the standout queen of the episode Black Peppa who came, saw and slayed.

Black Peppa not only stunned with her epic walk-in look where she pulled off a mask of her face to reveal her face… but then went on to win both the mini and maxi challenge.

Conquering the runway with her Mr Blobby and Quality Street chocolate look, the judges were blown away by her domination.

And in a hilarious turn of events, RuPaul was forced to find out about the British cultural icon themselves, Mr Blobby, saying: “Tonight was the first time I had ever heard of Mr Blobby and it was gorgeous.”

With Black Peppa‘s winning streak in only the first episode, fans are already stanning the queen, as she deserves, and showering her with praise.

“Black Peppa winning the first Mini Challenge AND Maxi Challenge I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT,” one fan wrote.

While another viewer added: “My life obviously needed seasoning, because I can’t get enough of BLACK PEPPA.”

“When Black Peppa took off that mask I was gagged and here for every moment of it!” another wrote.

However, it wasn’t just Black Peppa who impressed, with fans obsessed with this season’s line up.

“These queens are not letting me BREATHE constant gags after gags the LOOKS, THE OUTFITS, THE WIGS,” one viewer tweeted.

I smiled at every single queen on #DragRaceUK, what a fantastic cast, they’re all so incredibly likeable,” another added.
