Devolver Digital and developer Massive Monster have a hit on their hands with the recently-released Cult of the Lamb. The publisher took to Twitter to announce that Cult of the Lamb sold one million copies upon its first week of release across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, as well as release a new “accolades” trailer.

Massive Monster isn’t one to rest on their laurels, however. In addition to the accolades trailer, the developer announced that they’re actively engaging with the game’s community, prepping a multitude of fixes, improvements and general housekeeping for Cult of the Lamb. In fact, you can use this “public confession booth” to leave your feedback with the team.

In addition, the team will be sharing a content roadmap for updates in the near future.

Released on August 11, Cult of the Lamb, players take on the role of a possessed lamb that was saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger. The lamb must repay their debt by building a loyal following in the stranger’s name. Players will start their cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland worshippers, all the while spreading your Word to become the one true cult.

In order to do so, you’ll be collecting and using resources to build new structures, perform dark rituals to appease the gods, and give unholy sermons to reinforce the faith. You’ll also be destroying the non-believers and rival cults in a sprawling, randomly generated world, absorbing their power and asserting your cult’s dominance. In order to “spread the good news”, you’ll have to train your flock and embark on a quest to explore and discover the secrets of five mysterious regions.
