Part man. Part machine. All cop.
For the 35th anniversary of the cult classic movie RoboCop, the crime fighter from future Detroit gets the Ultimate treatment from NECA!
The announcement was made with the following retro-themed commercial that’s become a staple of NECA’s products. It revealed a trio of new RoboCop figures, including one with battle damage and a 10″ ED-209!
Here are all the details from the release:
“Battle criminals and rogue enforcement droids alike with an array of accessories: interchangeable data spike fist, Auto-9 pistol that fits into a hidden spring-loaded leg holster, Cobra Assault Cannon, attachable muzzle blast effect, and an additional interchangeable head with the likeness of Peter Weller.
“This 7” scale figure features upgraded deco and digital printing. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening flap.
NECA also announced a “7” scale Ultimate Battle-Damaged RoboCop figure in the included screen-accurate chair with movable elements. The chair is over 8″ tall, over 7″ wide, and has swiveling seat as well as articulated swiveling monitors!
In addition, “From the original RoboCop movie, the Enforcement Droid 209 Series stands nearly 10″ tall and is totally in movie-accurate scale with NECA’s 7″ RoboCop figures (sold separately). This is a massive figure and finally provides a worthy opponent for RoboCop. ED-209 is fully poseable and incredibly detailed. The figure has an articulated head, legs that slide up and down, hinged arm wing panels, and poseable cannon arms. ED-209 also features movie-accurate sound effects and dialogue!
“Press a button and hear hydraulic machinery sounds, the metallic growl “Warning: throw down your weapon. You have 15 seconds to comply” and more.”
