In what seems to be an unfortunate recurrence for games using the Vampire: The Masquerade license, Nacon and developer Big Bad Wolf Studio have announced a delay for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. Originally scheduled for release later this year on consoles and PC, the game is now aiming for February 2022.
It’s not all bad news, mind you. During Nacon Connect (when the delay was announced), the companies also released a new trailer that introduces the second possible character you can choose to play as in Galeb.
A 300-year-old vampire, Galeb is described as “just and unsentimental”, and one of the oldest and most feared Vampires in the city of Boston. Yet, as is often the case when you have it all, Galeb is left wanting something more. He’ll play a central role in the events that are impacting the Camarilla in the game.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is expected for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
