Alexandra Daddario-Starring ‘Die in a Gunfight’ Picked Up by Lionsgate for Release This Summer

Competing with Gunpowder Milkshake for the honor of “Best Movie Title of 2021,” Die in a Gunfight stars Alexandra Daddario and Diego Boneta, and it’s been picked up by Lionsgate.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate will give Die in a Gunfight a “multi-platform” release this summer. In director Collin Schiffli‘s film, written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari

“An unpredictable collection of schemers and killers collide when Ben (Boneta) reconnects with his old flame Mary (Daddario) to fight for their love against cruel fate itself.”

Billy Crudup, Travis Fimmel, Justin Chatwin, Wade Allain-Marcus, and Emmanuelle Chriqui also star.

Die in a Gunfight is a fresh and contemporary film packed with action, romance and twists at every turn,” says Lauren Bixby, VP of acquisitions and co-productions at Lionsgate.

“Audiences need fun, adrenaline fueled entertainment more so than ever,” adds Schiffli.
