As other toys and even the official trailer had suggested, it looks like MechaGodzilla is indeed confirmed for Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong, with Funko today showing off their full line of upcoming toys based on the movie. Most of the toys we had already seen, but today brings us our first official look at the film’s MechaGodzilla in the iconic Funko POP! style.
MechaGodzilla first appeared in1974’s Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla, presented as a sort of mechanical anti-Godzilla who has frequently served as Godzilla’s adversary.
You can pre-order Funko’s MechaGodzilla toy through Walmart today, with the toy set to be released this coming July. It looks like we’re also getting a glow-in-the-dark variant toy of MechaGodzilla, that one spewing a deadly stream of *red* atomic breath!
In addition to super-sized 10″ toys of both Godzilla and Kong from the movie, we’re also getting several different toys of both monsters in the traditional Funko POP! size, including Godzilla breathing his atomic breath, and Kong wielding a battle axe made from one of Godzilla’s dorsal plates. Check out the full Godzilla vs. Kong lineup from Funko below.
