A new documentary film called Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President is set to arrive in “virtual cinemas” on September 9, with a physical release to follow on October 9. The movie, directed by Mary Wharton, follows the 39th U.S. president’s life-long passion for music, how he used that enthusiasm in his political campaigning, and the relationships he cultivated with musicians over the course of his life. Today, a new trailer for the doc has been released, with appearances by Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Nile Rodgers, and others. Check that out below (via Rolling Stone).
