Eight Gates, a new album of previously unreleased recordings by Jason Molina will arrive on August 7 via Secretly Canadian. Following the release of “Shadow Answers the Wall,” another song from the album has been shared. Listen to “The Mission’s End” below.
Molina recorded the album in 2008 while he was living in London. Molina’s final album was 2012’s Autumn Bird Songs. Some of his earlier work has been reissued in more recent years. In 2017, Erin Osmon’s biography Jason Molina: Riding With the Ghost was published.
