Eric B. & Rakim to Livestream Performance of Let the Rhythm Hit ’Em

Eric B. & Rakim have announced that they will perform their 1990 album Let the Rhythm Hit ’Em in its entirety on Caffeine.tv’s The Leader channel. Starting at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on June 19, the DJ and MC will also discuss the album, as well as feature tributes and interviews with guests that include Ice T, LL Cool J, Chuck D, Cornel West, Mayor Ras Baraka, Fat Joe, Dapper Dan, Fab 5 Freddy, and Jody Watley.

The long-estranged rap duo played their first show in more than 20 years at the Apollo Theatre in New York City in 2017, performing their debut album Paid in Full in its entirety on the 30th anniversary of its release.
