Ohmme Reschedule Tour, Share New Song: Listen

Ohmme, the Chicago duo of Sima Cunningham (who works for the company that helps produce Pitchfork Music Festival) and Macie Stewart, have shared a new song from their upcoming album Fantasize Your Ghost. Listen to “Selling Candy” below, and scroll down for Cunningham’s statement about the song. Fantasize Your Ghost is due out June 5.

In addition to the new song, Ohmme have shared rescheduled dates for their upcoming tour. Following their supporting shows with Waxahatchee this fall, their North American tour in support of the album kicks off in January 2021. “Selling Candy” was pieced together from little snapshots of my
childhood growing up on my block in Chicago. It felt like its own tiny
world where I could explore my imagination, enjoy independence from my
parents, and meet all kinds of people, including the pissed off hot
dog vendor from whom I bought a boiled hot dog from as often as I
could get my hands on a buck.
