Blake Lively may have had to settle for second place over the weekend behind her husband’s Deadpool & Wolverine, as It Ends With Us debuted to $50M to the MCU title’s third frame, however, she was the boss of the box office on Monday and Tuesday.

The Justin Baldoni directed/starring Sony/Wayfarer Studios romance drama hooked $6.2M with another estimated $7.6M today. Sources tell us that Deadpool & Wolverine‘s third Tuesday is shaping up to be $7M.

Running total for the feature take of the Colleen Hoover novel is now $63.8M. Marvel Studios’ D&W is now past the half billion mark with $506.7M, crossing tonight. The Shawn Levy-directed/produced/co-written movie made $5.85M on Monday.

Despite another great hold for D&W in the $30M range this coming weekend, and Disney/20th Century Studios’ Alien: Romulus from Fede Alvarez set to deliver potentially a $40M opening for No. 1, It Ends With Us is expected to have a good hold in the -55% to -60% range for around $20M-$21M. Don’t be shocked if it does better.

Among domestic opening weekends, It Ends With Us reps Lively’s second best ever in her career, not far behind Green Lantern (which she co-starred with Reynolds), that 2011 Warner Bros/DC pic opening to $53.1M.

One of Lively’s next movies is her re-team with Paul Feig on Prime Video’s A Simple Favor 2. The first movie, in which she starred with Anna Kendrick, went theatrical and grossed close to $100M worldwide. Feig told us on Crew Call he just had a great test screening, and he hopes that Prime Video, which has been open to more theatrical releases lately, takes the sequel out theatrically. How can they not? Lively is pretty hot right now, and you can’t ignore her 50M-plus social media followers. That’s enough to get people in the theater.
