Billy Joel Postpones Concerts to Recover From Surgery
Music

Billy Joel is postponing a number of concerts so that he can recover from surgery and “undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors.” The musician, according to a statement, has been dealing with an unspecified medical condition.

“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel stated. “I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”

Shows in the following cities have been rescheduled: Detroit; Toronto; Syracuse, New York; Salt Lake City; Edinburgh, Scotland; Liverpool, England; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Milwaukee.

All purchased tickets are valid for the rescheduled shows. If you are unable to attend one of the new dates, refunds are available from your point of purchase. See Billy Joel’s tour dates below.

Last year, Billy Joel returned with the new song “Turn the Lights Back On.” He also brought his famed Madison Square Garden residency to a close.
