A Play Date Gone Wrong
Horror

The new horror film, The Other, marks the union of two queer horror icons: Jeffrey Reddick, creator of The Final Destination franchise, and Paul Etheredge, writer/director of the queer slasher Hellbent. With Etheredge writing and directing, and Reddick producing, the horror-thriller comes to VOD this June. In anticipation of its release, we have a chilling exclusive clip from the film.

But first, check out the film’s full synopsis:

After years of infertility, Robin and Daniel adopt Kathelia, a mute orphan with a dark past. But their dream turns to horror as eerie events unfold and Kathelia’s behavior grows unsettling. As an evil force takes hold, they must fight for their family—and their survival.

In the clip, we see Kathelia and her neighbor friend, Fiona, playing with dolls. But during their play date, Fiona has a vision and delivers an eerie message…

Watch now:

Olivia Macklin, Dylan McTee, Avangeline Friedlander, Lily D. Moore, and Shawnee Smith star in The Other. Reddick produces with Lisa Normand, Jeff Walker, and Tim Nagle.
