Rick Ross and Meek Mill Reconnect for New Song “Shaq & Kobe”: Watch the Video

The Maybach Music Group rappers have also teased a new collaborative album called Too Good to Be True

Rick Ross and Meek Mill have come together for the new song “Shaq & Kobe.” The track is produced by D-Mo Did It and Fresh Ayr. Watch the new “Shaq & Kobe” music video, directed by Kid Art, below.

In an interview with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1 teased a new collaborative album called Too Good to Be True that Rick Ross said is coming “ASAP.” Ross also said the project came together quickly, telling Darden, “This just was a quick vibe. Maybe two and a half months, you know what I’m saying?”

Meek Mill joined Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group in 2011. The imprint has previously been associated with Island Def Jam, Warner Bros., and Atlantic, and now has joined with Gamma., a multimedia platform co-founded by CEO Larry Jackson and president Ike Youssef.

“Rick Ross epitomizes the multimedia and multi-format market leader that gamma. was created to amplify,” Jackson said in a press statement. “We couldn’t be happier to formalize our relationship, welcome him to the Gamma. family, and propel the trajectory of an already well-established empire. We’re beyond excited for the world to experience his highly anticipated collab reunion album with Meek.”

Rick Ross released his most recent solo studio album, Richer Than I Ever Been, in December 2021. Meek Mill’s latest studio LP, Expensive Pain, arrived in October 2021.
