The album which is entitled This Is What I Mean, is due for release on 25 November and features lead single “Hide & Seek”.

Following a break of almost three years from social media, Stormzy announced the LP on his social media, sharing the cover art and track list.

It followed up the release of standalone single “Mel Made Me Do It” in September, which had a runtime of 7:20.

The music video featured appearances from Little Simz, Dave, Dina Asher-Smith, Usain Bolt and Louis Theroux.

The rapper recently penned an essay for British Vogue, which saw him discuss masculinity and how it “was always rooted in violence” from a young age.

“Whoever could fight; whoever was more willing to go the extra mile to protect their name,” he said.

He goes on to explain: “But what we learnt about being men, about having all the girls and all the money and the violence, didn’t turn out to be real manhood for me – it was somewhat the opposite.

“I found confidence and strength in my vulnerability. Saying “I’m sorry” and “I love you”. Taking accountability.”

“We had to unlearn and redefine what we were taught being a man was. I still understand that I’m deeply flawed. It’s just that now I want to be better, and I have a greater understanding of what “better” looks like,” Stormzy said.
