‘Morbius’ Clip Reveals the Action-Packed Birth of the Living Vampire! [Video]

Paramount Pictures sent us into the weekend with a trio of Scream posters that celebrated the legacy characters – Courteney Cox‘s Gale Weathers, Neve Campbell‘s Sidney Prescott, and David Arquette‘s Dewey Riley – each of them holding the iconic Ghostface mask that has been terrorizing them since the 90s.

The series of posters was a lead up to this weekend’s release of nine more, all of them teasing that Ghostface is always someone you know. Collider got the drop on all of the new pieces of art, all of which are quite simply superb. It’s kind of crazy to think we never got a promotional push this intense around a Scream sequel.

As the site notes, the new posters feature Minette as Wes Hicks, Sonia Ben Ammar as Liv Mckenzie, Mikey Madison as Amber Freeman, Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Jack Quaid as Richie Kirsch, Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter, Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter, and Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks.

The Scream franchise returns to theaters on January 14, 2022. The filmmaking team this time around includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, as well as executive producer Chad Villella, the three members of the filmmaking group Radio Silence (Ready or Not, V/H/S, Southbound).

The canonized sequel takes place twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, where a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

In addition to the art, the site also premiered a featurette that reminds us that anyone can be under Ghostface’s mask…
